As three Ryerson University students living on campus we are active members of the University community. We understand the demands of students as we live the same busy and often unhealthy lifestyle.
Business Description:
The Daily Market is a consistent source for farm fresh produce on densely populated student campuses. The first goal of the business is to boost the regional agricultural economy by providing a new distribution channel. Produce is taken from farms in a 100Km radius of the city centre; this reduces transportation costs, but also lowers the carbon footprint of the city, while benefiting local farmers. The second goal of the business is achieved by selling fresh produce which provides a healthy alternative to street food. This promotes a healthier lifestyle for busy students.
