About me:

My name is Behzad. I am a music graduate with a bachelor in fine arts. In my teaching experience I have realized that there is a lot more to teaching than just playing an instrument. I have experienced first-hand the difference a good teacher can make in a students's life. Music is a language and it takes attention and patience for any teacher to bring the lessons home. This is exactly the culture I want to cultivate. In this age when our daily lives are intertwined with music, almost everybody has easy access to listening to any music of their choice. Unfortunately the same id not true when it comes to learning and creating music. Not all of us can afford musical instrument to practice and participate in music making. I want to change this and democratize the opportunity. I believe more music can bring us closer as a community, a city and a people.

OUR GOAL: Providing an exciting, effective and challenging music education experience in homes across GTA and spreading music culture as a way of connecting to the city and people. /////////////////////OUR FOCUS: Connecting students to the right teacher and providing instruments to those who can't afford it, free of charge. ///////////////////// WE DON'T STOP AT TEACHING MUSIC: Music at Home will leverage its city-wide network of music enthusiasts to put on shows and engage communities that are less likely to attend concerts in the traditional setting of recital halls by bringing music to the streets. We see our network as a big family with music at its core. We will support, nourish and inspire one another and spread the joy of music in our city. ///////////////////// HOW: Music at Home provides fun, affordable and accessible music lessons for all ages. We believe music plays an essential role in inspiring and directing lives of youth. Our team will consist of experienced, professional, university educated teachers, primarily recruited from universities and professional music schools. We want Utilizing flexible and proven teaching methods and styles, we will coach our students to find the their right pace of learning, while taking them along on an enjoyable educational experience. Our teachers actively seek their students’ musical interests and incorporate them into lesson plans.
