About me:

Theresa Laurico is a passionate and creative TV/ media producer and entrepreneur who is committed to empowering, educating and inspiring fellow leaders. Laurico was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and holds a Journalism degree from Ryerson University and a WIFT-T Executive Media Leadership MPP from Schulich School of Business. She is the founder and executive director of the national non-profit Love in Action, which calls leaders to action for positive global contribution. She is also the owner of e11even Productions Inc. which produces media content for high calibre clients. Love in Action has supported organizations like Free the Children, Serving Charity, Planeterra and more. LIA has impacted thousands, was recently mentioned at TED Vancouver and in 2010, in partnership with Gap Adventures, LIA teams helped provide eyesight to over 208 people in Tibet by supporting Seva Canada. LIA recently partnered with Windows of Opportunity and today, the Love in Action Leadership curriculum is currently being taught in schools in New York City. Laurico belongs to organizations like United Global Shift and Women in Film and Television and believes that leadership is shown by how you lead your own life. She also believes that we are all leaders and is committed to sustainable planetary system shifts. Her awards include: NBC / Universal MP from CFC, Media 360 Recipient from Banff World TV Festival, 2010 Toronto Urban Hero Award, and a leadership award from the former Lieutenant Governor. Laurico’s SociaLIGHT team includes the talented Julz Diva, who is equip with a Bachelor of Design with Honors from York Sheridan and recent University of Toronto graduate, John Mares.
